Ode to the Bauhaus

Bordered by meadows and fields, this modern white villa rests on its grounds. The crunching gravel driveway leads visitors to the entrance area, the garage, the guest area and a small red cube. In keeping with the modern architecture of the house, it has a clear formal language. And the function of this little house, in which the outdoor sauna is hidden, is: pure relaxation.

Sauna Cube with a Sense of the' Green

You won't find any stylistic flourishes in this outdoor sauna. The owner is a friend of the Bauhaus style. The cube is clad in simple composite panels, the doors and windows are frameless, and the interior is unobtrusively finished in wood. The fact that the small sweat room doesn't feel like a cramped "shoe box" is due to the many views of the surrounding nature.

Outdoors at home

In order for this garden sauna to provide the perfect backdrop for relaxation, the builder placed it under a building projection of the main house. The view from the sauna can thus glide undisturbed into the open air on three sides, but access to the sweat room is possible from the guest area of the house, without any complications. Showers are also located here - in case you want to do more than just walk through the garden to cool off...

Materialisation

As an architectural as well as stylistic extension of the residential house, this outdoor sauna is built in the modern Bauhaus style. Coloured, weatherproof composite panels, which are invisibly attached, clad the sauna house. Frameless windows and door also fit in with this reduced exterior. However, the interior panelling of horizontally panelled, knotty polar pine with a black groove is quite classic.
