From sauna pioneer to wellness manufacturer
Our innovative spirit has its origins in 1974, when company founder Tony Küng recognised that a sauna could also be a design object and brought it out of the cellar and into the living room. He enriched Swiss sauna construction with unconventional shapes and bold materialisations. Küng set standards with his unmistakable signature - be it the horizontal panelling with black feathers, the use of frameless glass fronts or the bar profile.
As shared values unite, another milestone followed in 2017: the merger with Vaporsana AG added innovative steam bath technology to our sauna expertise. The steam baths brought a new sensual facet to the Küng cosmos and enabled aromatherapy with pure natural herbs - thanks to the patented Vaporsana technology.
The latest addition to the mosaic is the expansion of the range to include swimming pools, pools and experience showers. The element of water thus completes the circle and rounds off our vision as a holistic wellness manufacturer. Or, as stated in the Küng brand promise: "Wellness made personal".
