
Changing the heating system from oil to a brine-to-water heat pump freed up the tank room in the basement and, combined with the former laundry room, provided a good area for the recreational landscape. "The credo of this conversion is minimalism in perfection," says Sarah Reinhard, the project manager at Schärer Beck AG, who was responsible for the concept, the planning of the entire house conversion, the interior design and the installation work for the heating, ventilation and sanitary facilities. "Earthy colours were combined with natural materials to create a unity between the different areas throughout the house."
- The sauna can accommodate two people and is equipped with a Biosa heater and indirect lighting.

The design and wood of the sauna are echoed in the built-in cupboard on the opposite side of the room. A wooden shelf slides out of it, supporting an organically shaped ceramic wash basin. A round mirror above the washbasin completes the harmonious overall picture. A wellness room where you can forget about everyday life.
