It is controlled via a smart system with individually adjustable light scenes, integrated music function and remote start - even conveniently from nearby, for example from the stable.

Martin Fuchs - Success in sport, style in living
Martin Fuchs (1992) is one of the world's top show jumping riders. The 2019 European champion comes from a well-known Swiss equestrian family and impresses with his precision, sensitivity and consistency. He also values quality in his private life - for example in the design of his custom-made sauna from Küng Wellness.
"For me, the sauna is more than just relaxation - it has become an integral part of my everyday life. Especially after a long day in the saddle, it helps me to switch off completely."
Interior concept
The interior concept has been coordinated down to the last detail: The patented bar profile made of alder wood, ergonomic loungers, indirect lighting and a uniform choice of materials create a harmonious, calm atmosphere. The adjoining bathroom and relaxation areas were designed by interior designer Nadja Savary in the same style - a retreat that combines aesthetics and function.
How did the collaboration with the client come about?
Our collaboration with the client - in this case the show jumping rider Martin Fuchs - arose from long-standing, established relationships in the equestrian world.
The concrete idea for the current sauna came about during a visit to the Bauarena. Martin Fuchs was inspired there and approached us with the wish to integrate a sauna into his new home.
What were the specific spatial conditions of the attic?
The sauna was installed in the attic, a generously proportioned room with an open floor plan. The integration into an alcove next to the bedroom with an on-site window in the sloping roof was no great challenge - in fact, this is exactly the kind of project that makes our Küng team's heart beat faster.
What design or technical challenges arose due to the location and how was the sloping roof, the window areas or the view dealt with?
The sauna was planned so that it fits perfectly into the alcove - not as a separate box, but as a seamless part of the room. The sloping roof and the large windows with a view of the village were deliberately integrated into the concept. The result is a harmonious combination of architecture, design and functionality.
Which technical features or smart elements (e.g. control, light, fragrance) have been integrated?
Various smart elements have been integrated, such as our Küng Smart control system, which enables individual lighting scenes and music via loudspeakers. A remote start module is also installed so that the sauna can be activated from the stall after training. Indirect lighting under the loungers and on the ceiling creates an atmospheric ambience and further increases comfort.
